Children got to see a steam fire engine and explore a room filled with smoke at a fire station open day on Sunday.
As part of the day children were provided with small breathing apparatus sets and taken round a smoky room at Leatherhead fire station.

Firefighter Tom Harris said there were fire engines from past and present on display as well as stalls selling cakes and toys.
He said: "It seemed to go very well. We were able to clear a room, fill it with smoke and take the kids round."
