A man charged with six offences after a video of man waving a knife outside a Norbury café appeared online, has been remanded in custody.
The video showed a man dressed in a long black coat, hat and jeans, armed with a knife in the doorway of Cappuccino café on London Road.
On several occasions the man is seen to slam the knife down tables both inside and outside the café.
Lulzim Osaj of Colmer Road, Streatham, was charged on June 16, and appeared via video link at Croydon Crown Court yesterday morning for a preliminary hearing.
The 44-year-old is charged with grievous bodily harm; possession of an offensive weapon; possession of a pointed and/or bladed article, criminal damage; theft; and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded in custody until his plea and case management hearing at the same court on September 9.
