Crystal Palace made their first official move into the transfer market today by completing the deal to sign striker Stephen Dobbie from Brighton on a two-year-contract.
The 30-year-old was on loan at Palace last season and a deal to make the move permanent was finally completed having been largely in place as part of the loan agreement.
He should be followed in the next few days by Kevin Phillips and Andre Moritz, who are close to extending their stays in south London.
And Peterborough striker Dwight Gayle should also be confirmed as the Eagles' new record signing within the next couple of days.
