Andre Moritz has left Crystal Palace after failing to get assurances over his playing time next season.

The Brazilian, who was out of contract this summer, met with manager Ian Holloway today after returning from holiday and was told he was unlikely to feature heavily in the Premier League.

Moritz tweeted: "Today I sat down with the manager and told him what I wanted in terms of football. He said he didn't see me in plans due to playing style conflict.

"I appreciate his honesty and we decided to move on. At the age of 27 I'll need more game time.

"I wish everyone at the club success, I will miss the staff, fans and my heroic team mates. Thank you #cpfc."
