Hercules Wimbledon's men had a hat-trick of wins in the fourth of this season's Rosenheim League East Division match at Battersea Park.

Ex-footballer Dwayne Cowan was the outstanding performer taking the 400m in a personal best of 48.8 seconds, slicing one-tenth of a second off his previous best set in a Southern Men's league match at Horsham in May.

Josepth Chukwuadinula equalled his personal best in winning the 100m in 11.1secs and then linked up with Hamed Agboke, Antonio Douglas and Cowan to help Hercules Wimbledon win tne 4x200m relay in one minute, 31.6 seconds.

He was also second in the 200m in a personal best of 22.8secs, while Sean Hall also finished an impressive second in the 800m in a personal best of 1:58.1.

Hercules Wimbledon were just pipped in the match but are certain to reach the final which is being staged at Kingsmeadow Stadium on Wednesday, August 14.

The Hercules Wimbledon quartet of Emilie Boker-Ingram, Zoe Shannon, Heather Letley and Ayoola Ajayi also won their 4x200m relay race.

Earlier Ajayi and Letley were both third in the 100m and 200m events.

Ruth Wallace clocked a personal best in winning the non-scoring 1,500m in 5:03.2, slicing a second off her previous best set in a Rosenheim League match at Tooting Bec last month.

She was also second in the women's triple jump.
