A Croydon opticians' group has been nominated for a prestigious national award.
Croydon Local Optical Committee (LOC) is in line to claim the LOC of the Year award in recognition of being proactively involved with schemes benefiting the community.
The award is bestowed annually by the Association of Optometrists.
Christopher Kerr, Croydon LOC Chairman, said: "It is a great honour for Croydon to be acknowledged in this way."
The winner will be chosen by Optometry Today readers and announced on November 7.
