Danesfield Manor School enjoyed its annual fun day last week.

The day, which included live entertainment, a bouncy castle and stalls, was able to take advantage of the fantastic sunny weather on Friday, July 12.

Andy Davies from James Neave Estate agents presented a cheque to the parents' association for £1,500.

The cheque itself was a special work of art made by the year 4 and 5 children from the Walton school.

The crowds were kept entertained by the Academy of Contemporary Music from Guildford, who allowed the children to sing, and play on drums and the guitar adding to the atmosphere of the day.

The parents’ association thanked James Neave and all supporters of the event.

Headteacher Helen Chalmers said: “I am very grateful, on behalf of the school, to James Neave for their very generous sponsorship and support at our events.

“We are also delighted to keep welcoming back ACM and for their continued support of the school. Their attendance was the highlight of our fun day and showcased some of our great musicians whilst also previewing some future stars.”
