Grab your pyjamas and walking shoes and head out into the night to raise money for Princess Alice Hospice.

Registration for the hospice’s sponsored midnight pyjama walk has now opened, where walkers will take to the streets of Kingston, Tedding and Richmond to raise money for the hospice’s ‘eight to eight’ nursing service.

The vital service sees nurses and senior healthcare assistants providing support in patients homes throughout the night, allowing carers to get a good night’s sleep.

Emma Waggott, community and event fundraising manager at Princess Alice Hospice, said: “Our supporters always get into the spirit of things and dress up in some great outfits.

“It’s such a fun event with an amazing atmosphere. There’s something about fancy dress and staying up late that seems to get people into a great mood.”

More than 600 walkers ranging from seven months to 70 years old took part in last year’s walk, donning an array of bedtime outfits and fancy dress costumes.

The walk takes place on Saturday, September 7 and registration is open until August 29.
