Tough opposition: United boss put his skills up against Arsenal and Fulham over two days

Sutton United welcomed an Arsenal XI to Gander Green Lane on Friday night for their first pre-season friendly ahead of the new season.
The 2,100 spectators that packed the ground witnessed seven goals as Paul Doswell’s side gave a great second half account of themselves but in the end lost 3-4.

Sutton continued their pre season on Saturday with a 1-0 defeat to a Fulham XI, and their next fixtures are: AFC Wimbledon (h, July 20); Chelsea XI (h, July 23); Cambridge United (h, July 27); Aldershot Town (h, August 3) and Farnborough (a, August 10).
