**UPDATE (Wednesday, July 17, 11.50am - Brooke has been found safe and has returned home.)

A 12-year-old girl has been missing since Saturday morning.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Brooke Blakeman who went missing from her home in Oakmead Road, Beddington.

Brooke left her home carrying a bag of clothes and was reported missing by her parents on Saturday afternoon.

She was last seen travelling on a tram between Croydon and Wimbledon by a school friend on Monday morning.

Her parents, family and friends have not heard from her since she left without saying where she was going.

She has not attended her school, in Carshalton, this week.

Brooke may have an old mobile phone with her but it has not been switched on.

It is thought she left without an Oyster card and any cash - and is unlikely to have access to any money.

She is described as 4ft 9in - 5ft and is of average build for her height.
She has long fair hair and wears dark rimmed glasses.

There is no description of the clothing she was wearing when she went missing.

If you see Brooke, contact Sutton Police station on 101 quoting ref no: 13MIS023153.
