Esher Road in East Molesey has been closed after a car overturned earlier.
The car overturned at the junction with Walton Road, on the roundabout opposite the police station building.
Firefighters from Esher were called to the scene at about 4.55pm after a red Ford Fiesta hit a beacon and overturned.
On arrival to the scene, the crew said one of the wheels was missing from the car but the driver was able to get out the vehicle without needing any help.
Surrey Police were called to the scene just before 5pm to reports a car had overturned on the carriageway and said the driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Traffic is currently backed up in the area and the road will remain closed until the car is recovered.
