Dry weather causes bomb fire to get out of control
A large bonfire got out of control in North Cheam last night.
Fire fighters were called to the blaze in Henley Way at about 10.30pm.
Due to the dry weather the fire spread quickly – leading to a fence and hedges catching fire.
The blaze was soon brought under control and nobody was hurt.
