A car veered off the road and crashed through some railings near West Croydon Station last weekend.
The Volkswagen crashed through the hoardings of the Interchange building in Station Road on July 13 at about 8.15pm.
The driver, a man, ran away from the scene but reported the crash to the police the following day.
Two passengers, a man and a woman, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a car but were later released with no further action taken.
