The centre of New Malden was lined with stalls celebrating Malden Fortnight at the weekend.

Dozens of people strolled along High Street for the craft fair on Saturday afternoon, during one of the hottest days of the year.

Plants, cushions and cupcakes as well as salt dough crafts were all up for grabs on the day.

The Amnesty Kingston group also set up a stall and received 288 marks of support for Afghan women’s rights through finger ink stamps put in a ballot box – akin to how votes would be collected in Afghanistan.

The much-awaited Blagdon Road dog show will take place on Sunday.
