Merton Abbey Mills is set to be rocked by a blonde bombshell next month.

Janey Bombshell will be bringing her own brand of 70s Rock and Roll glamour to the Colour House Theatre on August 21 performing an acoustic set from her debut album, Rocka-Roll-Around.

With a passion for 70s sparkle Janey, who lives in a world she calls ‘Planet Bombshell’, will be taking you back in time backed up by musicians Greg Hart, who has played with Mike Oldfield, and Gary Williams of Ultravox.

She said: "'When I was little my parents were always listening to bands such as ABBA, The Carpenters and Suzi Quatro and I guess it's stuck with me.

"I love the whole vibe of the 70s and this shines through on my debut album.

"Singer songwriter David Martin sprinkled some of his 70s magic on a track and I'm thrilled with the result.

"The album is a real 70s chocolate box."

Watch out for Janey Bombshell in the future as she has ambitions to enter Eurovision in 2014.
