A film shot in and around Epsom is nearing completion and will be entered into festivals here and in the US.
Film-maker Frederick Stephenson, from Epsom Downs, said they are well into the post-production process for his film Changes.
A trailer has been released for Changes which was filmed on location at Epsom Downs Racecourse, restaurant called El Rincon, in Tattenham Crescent, and a house in Beech Grove.
The story follows Michael and Rachael who suffering from separate life altering changes and are trying to deal with deep, self-inflicted emotional pain.
Mr Stephenson said: "The main characters in the film represent me at different times and situations in my life up until my early thirties. In my own crazy way of thinking, it's a way for me to let go of some of those things."
Mr Stephenson moved here two years ago with his family and this was his first project with a budget of £17,000.
He said: "We decided that it would be the perfect time to pursue work in the film industry. I am a photographer by day so it was a fairly easy transition into the industry."
The film stars Lewis Saunderson and Claire Lowrie.
