A new organisation which lets patients and carers share their views about health and social care services has been launched.
Healthwatch Merton, managed by Merton Voluntary Service Council (MVSC), was launched on Wednesday, July 17, and will also provide information and advice on local health and social care services.
The launch was attended by more than 70 people and was facilitated by Barbara Price, MVSC lead trustee for Healthwatch.
Lola Barrett, chair of MVSC, said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded the contract to deliver the Healthwatch service and pleased to continue our work with health and social care services within the borough.
“Partnership working in Merton is extremely successful across all sectors and we’re looking forward to delivering the best possible service we can for local people.”
