Grabbing their rackets and heading into the sunshine, more than 200 people enjoyed playing tennis for free last weekend.
As part of the Get Active Wandswoth Festival, tennis coaching was offered free by All Star Coaching for three hours at King George’s Park.
Players of all ages visited the open session on Saturday, July 13, with some having a go at the sport for the first time.
Young tennis stars of the future used smaller courts and rackets to introduce them to the sport while adults played traditional tennis games.
Cardio tennis proved to be a big hit on the day, with adults joining in the tennis-based fitness craze to high tempo music, which can help to burn about 600 calories an hour.
Ben White, co-owner and director at All Star Coaching, said: “The Get Active Festival was an excellent opportunity for adults and children to try out tennis.
“It was a delight to see hundreds of families enthused by the All Star Coaching and what we had on offer.”
