The Worcester Park Tavern has new occupants
Squatters are camping out in a derelict pub.
The group of homeless people have taken refuge in the Worcester Park Tavern, on Park Terrace.
The pub, which closed down last year despite a campaign to keep it open, has been inhabited for the past month.
Sutton Council can not do anything to evict the squatters, as it is a civil matter for the new owners, and police said there is no sign of a break-in.
The new owners, hoteliers Shahrastani Development Limited, were unavailable for comment.
