Drivers are being warned to avoid a road in Whitton, which is shut after an accident this morning.
Warren Road is closed to traffic at the junction with Nelson Road after a crash at about 8.40am.
Bus route 281 is being diverted.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said a man was taken to hospital after the crash but did not have further details of his injuries.
The spokesman said: “We were called at just after 8.40 to Warren Road at the junction with Nelson Road to reports of a road traffic collision.
“We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene.
“Our staff treated one patient. A man reported to be in his 30s.
“He was taken to West Middlesex Hospital.”
