Thousands of Muslims celebrated the end of Ramadan at Western Europe’s largest mosque this weekend.
Up to 15,000 people packed the Bait-ul-Futuh Mosque in Morden to celebrate Eid al-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan.
During the celebrations his Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad gave a sermon calling for peace which was broadcast across the world.
The mosque was built in 2003 at an estimated cost of £5.5m and was funded entirely by donations from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community is celebrating 100 years of its establishment in Britain this year.
