The new opening hours for police front counters will be rolled out from next week.

From Monday August 19 there will only be one 24 hour front counter service in the borough at Croydon Police Station.

A new front counter is opening at Berin Underwood House, in Windmill Road, Selhurst and that will be open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

A further five contact points across the town will be open every Wednesday and Thursday evening between 7pm and 8pm and every Saturday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm.

The contact points will be based in Norbury, Thornton Heath, New Addington, Addington and Purley.

Kenley and South Norwood police stations are both closing but are running their normal operating hours until Sunday August 18.
