I just want to thank all those at Sutton Council who were responsible for the cleanup operation following the successful eviction of the travellers in Seears Park.
After only three days the park was a mess and I do not envy the team who were faced with clearing up after them.
I went on Sunday morning and already the park had more or less been restored to normal and people were back happily walking their dogs and enjoying the park.
The efforts and hard work of all involved are very much appreciated, particularly during a bank holiday.
