Detectives have released CCTV images of two men after robbers threatened to shoot a betting shop worker.
Police have issued the images in the hope someone will recognise the men who were captured on cameras inside the betting shop in Ewell which was raided on Thursday, August 15.
Two men who claimed to have a firearm forced the lone worker to open a till and safe at Coral bookmakers in Chessington Road, just before 6pm.
The frightened male staff member handed over the cash to the men who ran off towards West Ewell.
Officers believe that a small black hatchback car, that was parked on Plough Road at the time, may be connected to the robbery.
A police manhunt has so far failed to trace the robbers who were in their late teens or early twenties.
One was white, 5ft 7ins, and wearing a grey tracksuit. The other was mixed race man and 6ft.
Detective Sergeant Judith Burton, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a concerning incident where a lone member of staff has been threatened by two cowardly individuals.
"Fortunately the victim was not hurt during the incident but he has understandably been left extremely shaken by what must have been a very frightening experience.
"The robbery took place in a busy area so I feel sure that passing motorists must have seen or heard something out of the ordinary.
"I am also keep to speak to anyone who saw where the two men went immediately after the robbery."
Detective Constable Steven Cassidy, who is also on the investigation team, added: "We are now releasing images of two men who we believe were in the area at the time of the robbery and who may hold vital information on this incident.
"If you recognise either of the men please contact us as a matter of urgency as we need to find those responsible for this robbery and bring them to justice."
