I read with interest the letter from Steve Spofforth regarding the council waste sacks in Wallington area.
I would like to report that in Worcester Park it is regular to put one's sacks out and find them not only strewn around the pavements but also ripped apart down the side making them unusable.
Luckily our library supply replacements and neighbours tidy the street and collect them for us.
Surely, this is not cost effective for Sutton Council.
Bring back the old green tough sacks.
