A club night organised by adults with learning disabilities, for adults with learning disabilities, takes place in Kingston next week.
Boogie Nights is a regular event for disabled people and their families and carers, usually held in the relatively modest Kingsmeadow bar.
But the event moves to the 2,000-capacity Hippodrome this time for a big night of dance, house, pop and cheese.
Organisers say the idea is to give people with learning disabilities the sort of authentic clubbing experience they might not usually get.

Organiser Philip Hitchen says: “We wanted to be the first people in Kingston with learning disabilities to organise a huge club night for others with disabilities, their friends, families and support workers.
"We have been running Boogie Nights disco at Kingsmeadow for many years, which is really popular, but this event will enable lots more people to have a real clubbing experience.”
