Firefighters were called to rescue a man who found himself locked in a car park after working late, last night.
The crew from Wimbledon fire station were called to the BizSpace Wimbledon in Lombard Road, at about 11.50pm.
The man who had worked late, left his office unit to discover someone had locked the gates to the car park.
One firefighter said: "The unit had substantial security gates and we didn't want to cut them, so we got him out using a ladder that can split into three parts and put a section on either side of the gate.
"He said he could catch a train home and would come back for his car in the morning. He went on his way, but he wasn't too pleased."
