The Co-op food store in Ewell is set to re-open next month after a £350,000 revamp.
The store, on Kingston Road, has been re-designed and is due to throw open its doors again on Thursday, October 3.
A spokeswoman for Co-op said it will offer an improved range of fresh and chilled produce, an increased range of fine wines and a wider choice of ready meals.
Michelle Doyle, store manager, said: "Ewell residents are passionate about their food and our new-look Co-op food store will certainly reflect this.
"The store will be packed with great-value quality products and modern and interesting meal ideas that, while quick and easy to put together, are sure to impress.
"Our products will reflect that The Co-operative is the leading supermarket supporter of Fairtrade, and is committed to sourcing British products were possible.
"We know our shoppers lead busy personal and professional lives, and my dedicated and knowledgeable store team will be on hand to help customers and make recommendations so they can get the most out of their visits to our store."
