The multi-million pound home of a former Wimbledon racing driver has been put up for sale.
James Hunt lived in Wimbledon for more than a decade and was known for driving his Austin A35 van around the area before he died of a heart attack at the age of 45 in 1993.
The F1 champion's rivalry with Niki Lauda, which captured the imagination of millions of fans in the seventies, this month became the basis of feature film Rush starring Chris Hemsworth.
Now the home where he lived has now gone on the market for a cool £5.75m and its current owner is hoping the film will have motorsport enthusiasts racing to put in a bid.
The six-bedroom house in Bathgate Road near Wimbledon Common boasts more than 7,000sq ft of accommodation, three reception rooms, a swimming pool and a library.
