A giant snail expert and a tunnel engineer have visited a school for its science week.
St Martin’s Infant and Junior Schools, in Epsom, invited a forensic scientist and other visitors into school last week.
Other activities included children building newspaper towers, flying paper planes and dressing up as scientists.
Bob Twells, headteacher at St Martin’s Junior School, said: "We wanted to do something with the infant school and to have a focus for the week on science.
"It teaches them facts and knowledge but more importantly how to develop their scientific skills of observing and reinvestigating."
