A lifesaving hero was chosen to cut the ribbon and open a new mini-supermarket this week.
Former-army-Major-turned-G4S worker Noah Price has saved three people lives in the last year so supermarket chain Morrison's picked him to open its new M local shop in Sutton High Street on Monday.
Mr Price was given an award by Sutton-based G4S after he administered CPR to a man who collapsed outside the Old Bank pub in July, saved a colleague at a company dinner in December last year and helped a man who had collapsed and could not breathe two months earlier.
After hearing about that Morrison's approached him to open the new store in the former Blockbuster Video building.
He said: "As a major local employer, G4S has a long-standing relationship with Sutton as a great place to do business and I’m delighted to cut the ribbon at the new Morrison's store today, signalling new jobs and investment in the area."

The new store employs 20 local people and is open from 7am to 11pm every day. New manager Dave Bosher said: "Our aim is to be the convenience store at the heart of the community - we already have a community notice board in place for local people to use to promote events, which is a great starting block.
"Our store focuses on fresh food, which we’re sure customers will love so I hope they will pop in and give us a try."
