Elmbridge Mencap held a “sausage sizzle” barbecue with musical entertainment to celebrate the art workshops for adults with learning disabilities held over the summer.
The charity displayed the creations including paper lanterns, mosaics and painted glass around the woodlands and lit up with lights.
Artist Donagh Curwen led the workshops which were funded by the Walton Charity and the RC Sherriff Trust.
Chairman of Elmbridge Mencap Jean Rigden said: “What a fantastic evening we had. The woodland looked beautiful. A good time was had by all.”
Elmbridge Mencap is currently seeking new volunteers to become trustees, weekly social session helpers, and a volunteer handy-person for maintenance work.
The event was held on Friday, September 27.
