A mother is appealing for help to find her little girl's beloved toy monkey, after it went missing in Kingston.
Emma Duffield's one-year-old daughter Sofia lost her "best friend" Ah Ah in Kingston town centre shortly after noon on Sunday, while the pair were out shopping.
The toy is made by Jellycat, and was bought for Sophia for her first Christmas.
Emma said:"You can still get it in the shops, but it isn't the same.
"Sophia knows it's different."
A toy monkey found in Twickenham this morning was not her missing monkey, she said.
UPDATE: 2.39pm A woman phoned to say she found the monkey on Sunday outside the Adidas store in Kingston but put it on a green meter in case the owner returned.
She said she would go and look for it to see if it was still there.
UPDATE: 3PM The same woman has phoned back. The monkey is gone.
