Police officers and civilians were awarded for their bravery during a special commendation ceremony.
The ceremony took place in the Wandsworth Civic Suite, Wandsworth High Street, on Thursday.
A total of 36 police officers, four PCSO's and a member of the public received awards for showing courage, bravery and professionalism.
PC Jeremy Weston and PC Fiona Murray, PCSO Jon Broadhead and civilian Paul Davis all received a borough commander's commendation after they detained a knife point robbery suspect.
The officers were on foot patrol on July 16, 2012, when a report came in for a robbery in Carlton Drive, Putney.
When they got to the scene they learned Mr Davies chased and detained the suspect, while the stolen property was recovered.
