Prepare to be spooked this Halloween as Kingston hosts ghostly walks, ghoulish arts and crafts and a flavoursome night market to celebrate the town’s haunted history, writes Aniqah Choudhri.

Halloween themed cookery workshops and grisly makeup sessions take place in the Bentalls Centre on Tuesday, October 29, while spooky sweets and drinks can be found at Charlie’s Sweet Emporium and Sblended Milkshakes in the town centre.

Halloween day will start early with creepy arts and crafts at The Eden Walk shopping centre throughout the day where children can make scary masks, from witches and pumpkins to vampire bats.

Skating, Trick or Treat and a live band will be on offer at Two Seasons and in the evening Cellar Door will guide visitors on a chilling ghost walk featuring the spectres of murderous stepmothers and eerie hauntings throughout the town.

The festivities will come to a peak with the Halloween Night Market, inspired by the night markets of the East where the streets will be buzzing with ghost lovers and filled with cheap eats and peculiar finds.
