Voters are being urged to fill out registration forms they have received in the post to ensure they can take part in next year’s European elections and general and local elections in 2015.
Residents have been receiving their annual canvass registration forms which need to be completed and returned promptly.
Frances Rutter, Epsom and Ewell Council’s chief executive, said: "Registering to vote is quick and simple.
"All you have to do is update the annual canvass form with details of everyone who lives in the household and is eligible to vote and return it to us as soon as possible.
"It’s your vote, don’t lose it."
