A teenager was threatened with a knife and robbed on a train in Croydon.
Police today released images of a man sought in connection with the robbery, in which a man stole an iPhone from a 19-year-old before running off the train at Thornton Heath.
The victim had been travelling with a friend on the London Bridge to West Croydon train when the robbery happened at 11.15pm on Wednesday, September 4.
The robber sat opposite the victim and asked him if he had anything valuable before reaching into his bag and suggesting he had a knife.
He then rifled through the victim's pockets and took his phone and travelcard.
Detective Constable Mark Agrippa, of British Transport Police's robbery squad, said: "This was understandably a very intimidating experience for both the victim and his friend, as the man indicated that he was in possession of a knife.
"If you recognise the man pictured, or think you know his whereabouts, please get in touch."
