Business is booming in Walton, with another store celebrating a grand opening.
Homeware and contemporary furniture store Cargo opened its doors at the Heart shopping centre on Thursday, October 3, with the deputy mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Barry Fairbank, cutting the ribbon.
David Rich, marketing director at Cargo, said: “The new Walton store represents an exciting step for Cargo with a completely new concept and layout.”
The first Cargo store was opened by 20-year-old James Waller Carpenter in Paddington in 1876 and now there are more than 40 stores across the south of England.
