A police officer was struck in the face with a suspected bag of cocaine while chasing two suspected drug dealers last night.
The officer had stopped a vehicle in Willingham Way, close to the Cambridge Road estate in Norbiton, at about 6pm, believing the occupants were selling drugs.
The two suspects ran from the officer, who chased them. As he closed in, he was struck in the face with a bag containing a substance believed to be cocaine.
The officer was not harmed, but police are still looking for the two men.
Anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information, should call Kingston police on 101.
