A public meeting of the NHS North West Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will take place in Elmbridge next week.

The CCG’s governing body will meet at the Civic Centre, Esher High Street, on November 25 from 2pm to 5pm.

The group holds meetings within the community so residents can share their views on services and ensure they are kept at the heart of plans for health provision.

Dr Liz Lawn, clinical chairman of North West Surrey CCG, said: “It is important to us that local people attend our governing body meetings to hear firsthand our discussions about healthcare in north-west Surrey.

“There is an opportunity during the meeting for members of the public to ask questions and we would encourage people to submit questions to us three working days in advance.”

The CCG recently published a booklet titled working with you: improving local health services, which outlines its vision for the future and encourages residents to get involved.

The booklet explains how the CCG is working with residents, developing plans for the next three to five years and aiming to improve health services for people with a wide range of conditions.

Anyone who would like to ask questions to the governing body should call 01372 201875 or email contactus2@nwsurreyccg.nhs.uk.
