Ruler of the waves: Henry Bloodworth from Tadworth
Ewell Castle pupil Henry Bloodworth is celebrating after becoming the new U17s UK Windsurfing Association Cup Series champion.
The 15-year-old from Tadworth competed over six weekends at venues including Bridlington in Yorkshire, Weymouth in Dorset and Pwllheli in north Wales.
Bloodworth has been a member of the RYA junior national squad for three years, and he won the same title at U15 level last year.
He first learned to windsurf at Aquasports at Mercers Park in Merstham, and now he travels the world to compete in international tournaments as well as those closer to home in the UK.
