Police are continuing to appeal for help locating an escaped murderer who has not been seen since he absconded from a mental health unit.
Lerone Boye of Beckton, was jailed for 28 years last December after being convicted of killing Kelvin Chibueze in Illford on August 15, 2011.
The 17-year-old from Underwood, New Addington, was chased and stabbed after a fight broke out during a private party at the Arteflex Club in Illford.
Boye absconded from the John Howard Centre in Kenworth Road, Homerton, at about 2pm on Wednesday, October 16.
He is described as a black man who is 5ft 10ins and of slim build. He has a distinctive horseshoe shape scar on his right cheek and a gold tooth in his upper row of teeth.
When he was last seen Boye was wearing a grey/blue sweatshirt with a grey vest over the top. He was also wearing grey jogging bottoms. He had short hair and a goatee beard.
Police intelligence suggests Boye may be in East London and he is known to have links to Barking, Newham and Ilford.
The public are advised not to approach Boye, but to call 999 if seen.
Anyone with information about Boye's whereabouts can also call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
