Healthwatch Surrey has launched a project to learn more about the way patients in Surrey go about getting a GP appointment.
The consumer watchdog has issued a public survey for patients to complete, and a single question survey which is being sent to GPs.
Richard Davy, Healthwatch Surrey board member, said: “There has been a lot of negative coverage in the national media recently about GP appointment bookings. We want to get a quick snapshot of how it really is for people in Surrey.”
The public survey can be completed online at the Healthwatch Surrey website - healthwatchsurrey.co.uk.
Surveys can also be picked up from Citizens Advice Bureau throughout Surrey or a copy can be requested by contacting Healthwatch Surrey 0303 3030023.
