You don’t need to be a "cock-eyed optimist" if you head down to a new operatic take on classic musical South Pacific.
Featuring the original Rodgers and Hammerstein songs, including I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair, There Is Nothing Like A Dame, Younger Than Springtime and Bali Ha’i, sit back and enjoy a feast of beautiful music and exciting drama as the story unfolds.
It is World War Two and the US army has stationed a base on a South Pacific island. A young nurse falls in love with a middle-aged plantation owner, while a lieutenant arrives to head a mission to create a spy post on a Japanese-held island.
