A storage shop has called on people to donate to Kingston food bank ahead of the Christmas period.

Access Self Storage has already welcomed people donating tea bags, tins, cartons, pasta and rice to the shop in Coombe Road, to take to the charity supporting people in need of food.

Store manager Oliver Averty said: “Last year was such a success as we had more than 100 donations.

"This year we hope that the public will get behind us to support such a great local charity and beat last year’s total.

"Please donate now to the appeal, so we can help make a difference to many people in the local community this Christmas."
