Two teenagers were arrested after a fight in a convenience store left an employee in hospital with head injuries.
The fight broke out between two staff members of SS Food & Wine in Norwood Road, Thornton Heath, and the teens, both male, after shop refused to sell them rolling papers.
One of the teenagers also went to hospital with arm injury after the fight at 5.30pm on Friday, November 22.
Both he and the employee have since been discharged.
Both teenagers were arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until January.
Detectives, who know others were in the shop at the time, have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
