Flower power: Get a sneak peek inside Woodlark Nurseries
A Hersham flower nursery celebrating 50 years in business this year opens its doors to the public on Sunday afternoon.
Woodlark Nurseries supplies bedding plants to Squire’s, Garsons, Chessington and Woodcote Green garden centres, and hosts its second open day of the year, giving flower-lovers and gardeners the chance to check out its Christmas blooms.
Owner Ian Hopkins said: “We had an open day in the summer which was very successful. People enjoy the opportunity to look at a production nursery on a pretty big scale. They enjoy seeing the thousands of plants being grown and how it is all done.”
Visit Woodlark Nurseries, Burhill Road, Hersham KT12 4JD, on Sunday, December 1, from 2pm to 5pm. All are welcome.
