Students, parents and staff at Trinity School entertained 160 guests at their annual Christmas party last week.
Older people from linked residential homes, diners' clubs and other groups as well as local residents, were treated to tea and entertainment including bingo, a quiz compiled by pupils and a raffle.
There was also music performed by the Trinity Big Band and the Trinity 8 chamber group, then songs and poems from students and other connected with the school.
Additional entertainment was provided by students who performed magic tricks and also helped serve refreshments and enjoyed chatting to the guests.
Mayor of Croydon councillor Yvette Hopley also attended the party on November 20.
Maureen Dixon, Head of Community Action at Trinity who organised the event, said: "The whole of the Trinity community comes together, parents, pupils and staff, to put on a party that is appreciated by everybody.
"For many of our guests this is an opportunity to enjoy a Christmas celebration in the company of others."
South Norwood resident Ann Harcus said: "I really enjoyed the evening. The boys at my table looked after us very well and did a great job of making us all feel very welcome."
