Drivers and cyclists can expect to continue seeing police officers watching over busy junctions as they head to work.
Police officers have been standing at busy interchanges, including the lights at the junction of Throwley Way and Carshalton Road and the junction of Brighton Road and Sutton Court Road, during busy periods this week.
It comes as part of a London-wide operation targeting careless drivers and cyclists.
Officers have been on the look-out for a range of offences including drivers using their phones or stopping in bike-only zones and cyclists ignoring red lights and not wearing reflective clothes.
Fixed penalty notices have been given to law-breakers and police have been warning anyone they think has been driving or riding in potentially dangerous ways.
The drive is part of Operation Safeway, which will continue across London for the next six weeks.
Sergeant Bryan Gibson said: "We are working to improve road safety by enforcing traffic legislation robustly and educating the public - and talking to anyone we see acting dangerously on or about the roads."
