Four houses were damaged yesterday after fire erupted from the roof of a property in Worcester Park.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus and five fire engines were called to the blaze in Ardnossan Gardens, just after 1pm yesterday.
An Epsom fire station spokesman said eight firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled the flames.

He said: "There were four houses involved. It started in the roof and then spread to the other house. The other two were affected by smoke damage."
A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said they were called to a row of four terraced houses and the roof at the end was destroyed.
She said: “The house next to it was partially damaged by smoke and heat.”
